Bio

I have been designing and working with Friendly Plastic for more than 17 years and I continue to discover new ways of working the material. It is excellent for jewellery making, masks, costume, accessories, papercrafting and more. It is always lightweight, and can be colourful and bold, or subtle and tasteful. My jewellery reflects this, but you can see more of my work (although not for sale) on my website www.rarebird.ltd.uk. I spend a lot of my time teaching and demonstrating how to use Friendly Plastic around the country, and have filmed 2 DVDs and written a book to support this. My website allows people to buy the wherewithall to make their own creations, as well as providing inspiration, projects and ideas.
