Ahoy and welcome to Freshwater Pirate Designs! I am a geologist by training and profession and have recently moved to the extremely lovely shores of Lake Superior. I originally became interested in creating jewelry because of the many natural stones available for use in my designs. I love to combine earthy, organic stones with modern and elegant elements for a unique and eye-catching combination. I have eclectic tastes in jewelry and thus have fairly eclectic designs. Also, I am extremely picky about what I put out there for sale—I would never sell anything that I wouldn’t wear myself! That means well-crafted, durable pieces, that have a clean look to them.

All jewelry is handcrafted to withstand normal wear and tear and the test of time. But if your piece should suffer a catastrophe as a result of a design flaw, please contact me and your item will be fixed free of charge (minus shipping costs). If repair is due to a customer accident, contact me and I will assess the cost of the repair.

Please make all payments within 3 days of purchase. All items will then be shipped via USPS within 3 days of purchase (or faster).

Items are shipped in a gift box without a receipt. If you would like your item to be shipped directly to a gift recipient, just let me know.
