Bio

My creative bug started at the early age of four when my great grandmother started teaching me simple quilting techniques and basic crochet. After realizing the joy of personally being able to create something original, I asked my mother to teach me the basics of sewing by hand. Soon I was making clothing and bathing suits for myself and all of my friends!

With Choppin' Broccoli, I can fulfill my need to sew something everyday and hopefully create something adorable for someone. I love to create new things so if you have any suggestions of something you'd like to see, let me know - I'd love to figure it out for you.

Along with Choppin' Broccoli, I am currently the Creative Activities Coordinator for my MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) charter and I use my creativity to help such charities as Don’t Skirt the Issue and SOAR (Speaking Out Against Rape).

I reside in Orlando with my husband, my two boys and an adorable Yorkie named Guinness.
