Bio

I knit and crochet every day. Everything in my shop was conceptualized, designed and handmade by me. The only "machines" that touch my fibers are my hands, knitting needles and crochet hooks. I love manipulating fiber to make things that are useful, but they must also be beautiful and fun. Designing for infants and children injects another factor: safety. Because of my background as a physician, I prefer to use natural materials with less allergen and toxin exposure for our little ones. You will always find material content clearly stated. I am attentive to details such as securely placed buttons, hoods without drawstrings, and embellishments on toddler clothing that cannot be removed and swallowed. My items are made in a smoke-free environment.
