Bio

Melody Jamieson is the owner of Noteworthy Photography. Melody has had a lifelong interest in both horses and photography. She began riding 20 years ago and has had the opportunity to compete in horse shows and endurance riding. During the past 5 years, she has taken her love of horses and combined it with her interest in photography. Primarily self-taught, Melody has been able to use her knowledge of horses to create beautiful equine photographs. She photographs using traditional 35mm film, but incorporates digital editing as needed.

Melody's photos have appeared in the Washington Post, Endurance News, Mules and More, Spotlight, and Equiery. Her photos have also won local and national recognition. Most recently one of her photos was named best in show at the 2007 Great Frederick Fair.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Melody now lives in Thurmont, Maryland with her husband and son. Melody has seven horses and competes regularly in endurance rides. She has a special fondness for the draft breeds and is learning how to drive her Belgians and Percheron.
