Bio

Susanna Carugini-Royce, the founder of Carugini Tuscany Art, is a Pisa born Italian (Tuscany Region) who came to America in 1991 and is working in the field of the Arts.

She makes sculptures from tree roots with interested shapes and also handcrafts art from old bottles, vases, goblets, bowls and such by wrapping them in cord and then decorating them with beads, crystal, stones, and sometimes gold or silver items. She names each of her creations individually with Italian female names and makes a special label for each item. She also makes handmade fashion accessories such as purses, belts and bracelets.

Having been born and raised in the Tuscany Region of Italy, Susanna's life was enriched with old-world European style and culture. She studied glass arts at Istituto d'Arte di Pisa. She now brings this old-world style to the new with her own line of art, her wrapped glass Tuscany Bottles, her sculptures, fashion accessories and bracelets.
