Bio

My name is Lori Lawson and I have a small fiber arts business out of my home studio in San Juan Capistrano, CA. A knitter since age 7, I learned to weave and spin almost 10 years ago and shortly after that began dyeing my own yarns and spinning fibers. I began selling my hand-dyed yarns and fibers after many requests from fiber friends. That journey evolved into Capistrano Fiber Arts Studio. I am featured in two recent books: Twisted Sisters Knit Sweaters by Lynne Vogel and The Yarn Lovers Guide to Hand Dyeing by Linda LaBelle. Ravelry users know me as "SpinSpin".
