Hold the Flour is a family based mother/daughter run company. We pride ourselves in working together to create unique gifts we know people will love. We're based out of Naugatuck, CT but our business is online and available to anyone in the USA at www.holdtheflour.com

For years my mother has made gift cakes for family and friends and they were always the talk of the party. One day we were brainstorming about how we might start a business together and it came to us, Gift Cakes!

We spent month after month experimenting and trying our new cake ideas. We would sit in my mother’s basement scrutinizing every last detail of the cakes, making sure they looked just right. Finally our first 12 recipes were complete and we were ready to open our shop. We love making cakes and we’re always thinking up new ideas. We just hope you enjoy our cakes as much was we enjoy making them.
