Bio

I began designing fashion jewelry in 1984, selling to friends and acquaintances. I was then invited to show pieces in shows sponsored by civic groups and corporations. As a result of these showings, I have established a large private customer base.

In 1986 I became one of the jewelry designers represented by the nationally known Kruger Gallery. Through them, my pieces were bought by Saks, Fortunoff's, and boutiques accross the United States and the Virgin Islands.

My media credits include magazines, catalogs and a television interview.

In the early 90's I returned to my love of sewing and crafting, selling to my established customer base and many new customers. I also co-produced and hosted a cable television show, "Crafting with Grace", which aired from 1998 to 2001.

I love working with my hands. I produced a line of limited edition clocks, mirrors, bedside bookmarks. and pillows for the home, some of which were featured in the May/June 2005 edition of Homes of Color magazine. Encouraged by the response to my pillows for the home, I've recently added ring pillows to my collection. With the ring pillows I can work on pure design without having to work with so many different kinds and colors of fabric. I only use white and ivory satin. Now that I've introduced my first few designs, I feel that the ring pillow is as important as the wedding dress because it holds the symbol of a couple's love. What could be more of a joy to work on!
