I began sewing when I was 12, & made most of my own clothes in High School. I've always worked with yarn, string, jute, & leather. I love the feel of fiber in my hands. I love to recycle, & use found objects in different ways. I scour thrift stores for broken jewelry to use as embelishments on my bigger pieces. I haven't started doing custom orders yet, because I'm still working on my dining room table, awaiting a proper home studio.
My latest sewing passion is creating fabric postcards. I love making them & collecting them. All of my fabric postcards are made using high-quality materials, are always layered on a stiffner, & are always backed w/fabric. They are mailed to you in a protective envelope on the outside, & each card is contained in a clear mailing envelope ready for you to send through the mail. Most are suitable for framing. If you would like the title of the card written on the back, please let me know. Also if you would like the card pre-addressed for you, I can do that too!
I'm also a self-taught cake decorator, & have made numerous wedding & birthday cakes. Arthritis in my hands made me give up on that venture, so I will be adding my vast amount of cake pans/tools in the future.
Also I have a great collection of craft books on numerous subjects, & are in un-used condition UNLESS stated in the listing. They are hard-cover, unless stated in the listing.
