Bio

I have always been enchanted by the creative process and found my outlet for it with my second degree in Fashion at The Parsons School of Design in my birthplace, New York City. Inspired by the ethnic dress I discovered first in books and, later, through travels to India, Africa, South America, and the West Indies, I realized the cultural and expressive role of jewelry in both fashion and culture. My natural interest in the exotic had always drawn me towards languages, clothing, and the ornamentation of indigenous cultures. This combined with my formal design studies and intuition for color theory provides the foundation for my pieces.

After six years of living in Spain, I returned to the States to run a studio space to make my custom jewelry. That studio soon turned into a successful and vibrant boutique. After three years of running my lovely shop, I went on to do designer collection work. It has been a fun ride and will continue to get crazier and busier, but I have also very much missed the creative world of one-of-a-kind pieces. So, here at Etsy, I look forward to re-exploring my first jewelry venture. I hope you like and are inspired by my designs. Please let me know if there are any custom requests you have, as I am happy to oblige where possible. Thanks!
