Bio

Stefan and Joey Metcalf, residents of Asheville, North Carolina where they were born 18 years ago, have grown up in the beautiful mountains. Homeschooled from 7th grade through graduation, the twins have always had a strong interest in creative arts.

The two began painting with oil on wet canvas at the age of 16. In two years they have developed together, a self-taught ability to paint scenes inspired by but not copied from the beauty of the environment in which they were raised. They have seen many unfortunate environmental changes in their young lives already. Using their craft to remind us of the profound effect of the simplicity of undisturbed nature, their hope is to make us all stop for just a moment and appreciate God’s world for what it was meant to be.
