Bio

I have always had a playful mind when it comes to creativity and It has evolved over my life. I started working with pencils,charcoals,paints,clay,and screen printing..I was lucky in High School because my art teacher Ms.Pat Matthews had traveled the world every summer,learning new techniques herself and then bringing those influences back with her incorporating these techniques in her teaching. I painted for many years up into my late 20's and one day I had a epiphany... I wasn't going to paint anymore, No one wants to buy original art... only prints..And what is original anyway? and I decided I would go to my roots and I was going to attempt to sew. In my family there are a lot of quilters and even though I didn't want to be a quilter...I did want to sew. I attempted many things at first and decided NO Way was I ever going to sew. I put my sewing machine up and did not touch it for almost another year and a half. Once I pulled it out again played with it for a while getting techniques down. My sewing has finally evolved in what it is today.
