ABOUT MAIDENSHADE
MaidenShade takes the act of covering bare bulbs just a "shade above" what the rest have to offer. From my imagination and heart come wonderful lights, faerie boxes and sundries that soften the harsh light of a sometimes-glaring world. Some are subtle, some are bold, but all are MaidenShade creations that you will find no where else.

I am located in the Naples area of southwest Florida. Inspired by the artists in my family, I began by imagining, designing, and then giving my functional and fanciful items as gifts. Encouraged to take my work to the retail market, I began selling my aprons, home decor items, faerie boxes, lamps, lamp shades, and night lights to local establishments in and around Naples, Florida as well as to those in my hometown of St. Paul, Minnesota and surrounding areas. With the birth of my e-store, www.MaidenShade.com and now on Etsy, comes the latest opportunity to share my passion of creating beautiful lights.

A BIT MORE ABOUT ME
I adore beautiful fabrics and trims, but if I can't find exactly what I want - I cobble some together and create my own embellishments. Finding or making the right glues for the particular job at hand has been one of my biggest "whew!" moments. Being a bit of a trim and fabric-holic, you'll find the fruits of my excessive purchasing here. Please, buy them so I can buy more; )
