I'd like to write and illustrate children's books and graphic novels; create bold independent films; enact impressive artistic installations; write scholarly critiques of films by David Fincher, Mary Harron, and Lars von Trier, Bollywood, as well as the television show Lost, and other social, anthropological, and media related happenings; display my paintings in galleries around the world; establish my Animal Art Therapy business; and create a movie theater that serves milkshakes and other good Vermont foods, and is called Marissa's House of Movies.

Things I like and which interest me: movies, music, dogs, plants, animals, sunshine, gardening, swimming, hiking, biking, beaches, technology, academics, jewelry, art, fashion, interior design, landscape architecture, recycling, creativity, art, food, organization, mental health, cars, environments, travel, milkshakes, and a whole buncha other things and stuff.

|| History/background ||
I've been an artist all my life, so I've got quite a lot of my artwork stored up that I'd like to sell. I have a large house that is crowded with knick-knacks galore, which I'd like to sell as well. I'm looking to move sooner or later from the backwoods of Vermont to someplace where I can start a more successful art career, so that's to explain why I'm selling what I am. Because I'm a recent college graduate and I have no real career to speak of yet (aside from currently being a full-time caregiver for my ill mum), you'll know your purchases will be benefiting a most worthy cause. :-)

|| Payment policy ||
Only PayPal, please. I am PayPal verified. Through PayPal you can also pay with any major credit or debit cards, as well as directly through your bank account. If you are a first time PayPal user, as well as a first-timer to Etsy, or you have a poor buying rating on Etsy, please convo me prior to your purchase.

|| Shipping information ||
Once I receive your payment, and have communicated with you to verify your billing and shipping information, I will ship your item to you.

Depending on the item to be mailed and to where, I will use the US Postal Service's parcel post, media mail, or USPS Priority Mail. Please let me know if you would like additional shipping insurance, and I will adjust your bill accordingly. I am not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise.

If you have specific mailing preferences, concerns, or you live outside of the US, please contact me. International customers are responsible for all fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping to their respective countries.

I'll hand-package everything very carefully to ensure your purchase gets to you safe and sound. Handling fees are included in the cost of shipping, to account for safe and secure packaging materials, and for my travel to the nearest post office. Much of my packaging will be recycled, so do not fear if you receive an Amazon.com box from me for example. Because I live in rural Vermont, shipping can sometimes take a few days extra to arrive (sometimes when winter storms come I'm unable to get out of my driveway, and sometimes the mail here just gets a little slow, but you may be pleasantly surprised and it'll even come earlier than expected). If you really need an item shipped quickly, special arrangements will need to be made, and you will have to pay the additional rushed-shipping/handling charges.

|| Return & Refund Policy ||
No returns.

If I receive instant payment through PayPal and am unable to contact you to verify your information within a timely manner, I will have to refund your money and I will not ship the item(s).

If you purchase an item and for whatever reason I am unable to ship it to you, I will notify you immediately and certainly refund your money. (I state this in case I run out of a certain item, it already sells and I do not take down that particular Etsy listing in time, it becomes damaged in my possession, etc.)
