Hi, thank you for your interest!
I am a stay-at-home mom to two wonderful boys and "teach" a Mom's Morning Out 2 year old class twice a week. I began sewing as a little girl with grandmothers and thought I was destined for 5th Avenue with my "creations." Well, I'd say Etsy is just as posh!
I live in Tyrone, Ga with my sweet husband (financier of "My Mommy Made It!) and our two wonderful little boys, Cooper 4, and Charlie 2. I recently got motivated again after getting a new sewing machine! New machinery always motivates a girl!
My boys are fascinated by Mommy's "calculator" (a.k.a sewing machine) and are so proud to show off what Mommy has whipped up. After scooping out a local boutique I discovered the sweetest little pillowcase dress and had to try to make one for my niece. It turned out so precious, I had to make more...and more...Sara is sure to be sick of "Auntie's dresses" by the end of the summer! Practice has made perfect and I hope you enjoy your new dress as much as I have making it for you!
