Bio

Betty G. Miller is a deaf visual artist, a painter famous in the deaf community, known as "the mother of De'VIA (Deaf View/Image Art)." Ralph Reese Miller was Betty's father, and a noted deaf illustrator. Betty's artwork that focused on her deaf experience inspired her father to create De'VIA images as well.

Nancy Creighton is a freelance graphic designer (book and magazine design and editing) who creates jewelry and small fiber arts pieces when time permits.
