my name is meredith m. grant. i use the name "olivetti" for my shop because it is my favorite brand of typewriter. also, i really love olives and olivetti makes me think of a tiny little baby olive. cute.

i live in chicago, and i'm a homebody, which seems to result in a strange combination of intense productivity & intense relaxation. i collect nancy drew books and paint by numbers of horses. i enjoy traveling, though i don't do it enough. i also enjoy dramatic weather, nice furniture, google reader, watering my plants, personalization, and sewing pockets into my dresses.

etsy is not my full-time day job, though i wish it was. i take it very seriously, but for now, i am just starting out small-scale. i'm testing the waters to see if this will work, and i'm optimistic.
