Bio

I am Kat (Kathryn) in "the kat sak". I grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

I learned to sew from my Grandma Joanne at a young age. First by hand and then on the Singer sewing machine that originally belonged to my great grandmother.

the kat sak is devoted to creating high-quality, handmade bags and accesories that you can enjoy for years to come.

Each item is made by me from start to finish in my pet free sewing studio in my smoke free home.

I use a variety of fabulous fabrics. I use a lot of heavy weight decorator type fabrics as well as fun cotton prints.

My bags and wallets are all of original design. Most of them were developed either for my own needs or those of my family and friends.

Anything in my shop can be made up in a different fabric combination. Custom orders are welcome just please know there will be a slight delay in shipping due to the time it takes to create the bag or wallet.
