I live with my husband and daughter in northern Georgia, although we are originally from the midwest. I've been an avid knitter for over 20 years and have been spinning for about 8 years. My dream is to eventually own sheep and other fiber animals, but for now am content to purchase my fiber for spinning from others. I try to purchase my supplies as close to the source as possible...meaning that I like to buy fiber from those who raise the animals. This is a good way to make sure the animals are treated humanely.

I am geeky about recycling and love to make "freegan" items. These items are made of supplies which I came by free of charge. These are often supplies which someone else was about to throw away, although still useful and clean. This is my little way of keeping our landfills from overfilling. Freegan supplies include fabric remnants and clothing pieces to be deconstructed, bags of unwanted embroidery floss, and old embroidered tea-towels. I use these supplies to create one of a kind pieces of clothing and accessories.

When purchasing yarn, consider buying the whole lot of whichever kind you're looking at. I will ship free of charge if you do. This sometimes means buying only 2 skeins!

I do my best to display my items accurately. Please keep in mind that photo colors will look different on each computer.

I also try my best to give correct sizing on finished pieces. I know as a mother that one child's 2T is not every child's 2T. I will give garment measurements where needed. Please contact me if you need more measurements. I am also happy to make custom garments. You will measure your child and I will construct the piece to fit.

I ship priority mail with the usps and will do so the day after I receive payment.
