Hi there! My name is Kate, and I'm the girl behind the stuff.

When I became a first time mommy to little Elijah Owen last summer, I became painfully aware that options for cute, modern baby stuff were pretty limited. While I've come to terms with the fact that charmingly garish colored plastic toys will be a part of the decor of our home for years to come, I sought to make myself some baby gear that didn't look so, well, babyish. It isn't that I don't love my new mommy identity... I just didn't see why the things I used day in and day out to take care of him couldn't be more reflective of my own personality.

Considering lilies was born out of the desire to give mommies original & lovely things to use doing their most favorite job in the entire world - taking care of those little ones.

All the items I sell are made at home, by me, with my little guy playing nearby.




Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
