Bio

Ms M has been bead weaving since 1986 when she did a project for a women's group. With life's interruptions, she wandered away from the craft now and then, but always returned to the beauty of off-loom bead weaving.

In 2000, she got very serious about beads as an artform and took classes from such notable masters as: Diane Fitzgerald, Sue Jackson and Wendy Hubick, Maggie Meister, Tina Koyama, Leslie Frazier, Leslie Frummin, Linda Gettings, Diane Wertzler, and Liz Townes.

The inspiration from these masters guided Ms M to design, illustrate and write her own instructions for the classes she teaches.

Recently she partnered with her sister Denise, who teaches Spanish in Albuquerque. They are marketing a line of beaded designs written in Spanish.

Ms M is very concerned about maintaining the ethics of beaders and teaches new beaders the honorable path. Respecting the time, talent and treasure of our master designers will give us a legacy to leave to the generations of beaders that follow this beautiful path.
