Bio

I was born and raised in upstate NY in the 1000 Islands area, a region rich in beauty and creativity. I credit my parents for encouraging the creativity that I have, they are both artists in many forms and they encourage me to explore my own creative paths as well. I enjoy expressing myself through clay, plastic canvas, digital photography, and various other forms of mixed and recycled media. I am an animal lover and mother to three rescues, a cat named Zoe, a Rot mix named Shelby and a Cattle Dog mix named Skye. Expressions is about my interpretations of the world around me, and in honor of my girls, the pawprint is my mark. I like to push the limits on what art is, and how far you can take an idea into creating something completely different.
