Bio

Over the past 10 years Queen Bee Productions has worked with many artists from many mediums. There is always an auction item needed to help raise money for a women’s shelter or a special gift to present to a women in the community who has done good work. Queen Bee artists provide unique creations.

Queenbeed was borne out of this prolific outpouring of generosity. Artists who work with QBP or have in the past, offer their beaded works through Queenbeed. Purchases made through Queenbeed will not only support the individual artists but a portion of the proceeds helps QBP continue its work.

Deb Lemire is Artistic Director of Queen Bee Productions. Established in 1998, QBP produces theatre and creative programming that work to change how society views women and how women view themselves. QBP works with community organizations to foster a cooperative and empowering environment advocating for women.

She serves on the Board of the international organization ASDAH (Association for Size Diversity and Health) and is Program Director for Women Central Project in Northeast Ohio. Deb has been recognized for her work by the National Organization for Women, the YWCA Rape Crisis Program, The Women’s Network and is listed as one of Northeast Ohio’s most influential women.
