I am a Mom who loves to create and make. I dabble in everything from sewing to jewellery making to papercrafts. Of course it doesn't stop there, I also knit and crochet and scrapbook. I've potted and metalsmithed, uummm anything else? Oh ya, so stained glass stuff. OK so you get the idea. If I think I can make it I will try. I am not so good at the woodworking. Maybe someday.

I started making diapers when I was expecting my second child. I wanted a supply of newborn diapers and at that time I could not find them anywhere, so I sewed some. Well the diapers I bought for my first babe as well as the ones I had made worked quite nicely for my 3 children and as soon as they had mastered the potty I retired them to the local thrift store. Well I thought that was the end of my diapering days, when along came Nora. Nora opened up a whole new world of cloth diapering to me as I now had the internet and many more options ahead of me. I educated myself and learned many new things. This is how the pattern that is my diaper came to be.

This is also when I discoverd how much I love wool, which she wears 90% of the time. It began a love affair and couldn't stop purchasing sweaters and making these adorable little pants.
