Bio

Artistasan is the creative duo of Lisa and Dave Pijuan-Nomura.

Lisa Pijuan-Nomura is a multidisciplinary artist who when not performing, teaching or coaching is often found in her home studio. A most curious chica, Lisa is most often beading, painting or collaging small pieces of art.

Dave Pijuan -Nomura is a photographer and new media artist. When not programming computers, Dave is often found searching out subjects to capture with his lens. Specializing in macrophotography, Dave has a wonderful way of helping us see beauty in everyday life.

Together, Dave and Lisa make a great team. One makes big bold strokes while the other pays immaculate attention to detail. They enjoy seeking inspiration from Nature, antique shopping and laughing a lot.


All of our work is created from our home studio in Toronto.

Please note that our home is smoke free but we do have to feline friends that sometimes help us in the studio!
