I have always loved small things. As a child I constantly picked up little treasures that I would find, from seashells on the beach, to things that other people considered as trash.
I began making button flowers about 10 years ago and continue to try to evolve. I started making ceramic buttons about 4 years ago. I create my ceramic buttons using a variety of textures that I have collected from all over the world.
