Bio

I am an American Handbag & Accessory Designer who is passionate about creating! I have been sewing since I was a little girl and inspired by my mother who is very creative and talented. Growing up without a t.v. I was inspired to do craft related projects in my spare time and forced to think outside the box.
When I got into college I really did not know what I wanted to do so I got a degree in interior design. I never dreamed I would want to design handbags and accessories for a living. My motivation for working for myself and passion for fabrics has sent me down the road of entrepreneurship. I hope to build a prosperous business that enhances the lives of many young and old.

About the Company
La Mia is in a home-based studio in the beautiful Adirondack Mtns of New York. Stephanie designs, constructs, and assembles each piece. Some of the product La Mia carries is: handbags, baby items, home accessories such as bedding, and jewelry.

We use the finest materials to create each item and most often using two or more fabrics in the end result. From vintage to leather each piece is unique and one-of-a- kind.
