Hi, my name is Celia, I live in beautiful Rochester Michigan with my husband and two wonderful daughters. I first became fascinated with gemstones when I was a kid and I got a rock tumbler for Christmas one year (now my daughter has one just like it). It was so cool to take an ordinary rock, put in in the tumbler and out comes a gorgeous little stone.
A few years ago I realized that the local bead store carried polished gemstones ready to make jewelry with and my obsession of jewelry making was born. I started making jewelry for myself and soon had more than I could ever wear (at least more than my husband thought I needed :) so I decided if I wanted to continue making jewelry I should start selling some.
I love working with stones because they are all so unique and beautiful in a very natural way, the colors and patterns in them fascinate me. I think the sterling silver is a great compliment to the stones. I prefer making designs that are unique and not something you would find at the department store. I'm constantly trying new materials and new techniques like the oxidized cooper I've just started using.

I'm new to Etsy but have been selling on Ebay for several years and have a 100% positive feedback under cjk2710.
