Patricia Pentecost is the owner/photographer for Plum Tree Studios, a Houston based photography and art company. www.plumtreestudios.com

Her passion is creating art from the world around her, capturing moments, and the every day things that in simplest forms make life magnificent.

When asked for her artist statement, she once replied:

"That life, in its most basic forms, is beautiful. Nothing more, nothing less. My art for me is a record of a place in time or a moment, or sometimes just an object. Often, it's the essence of a person, or an item that catches me and generates a certain analysis in my brain...a breakdown, if you will, of its simplest components. Life is a journey...I say that a lot. And these things are my vehicles."


Her primary mediums are photography and acrylic painting. On Etsy, her featured work includes original and limited edition photographic prints, and one-of-a-kind painted abstract works. Either are perfect as collection pieces and decoration for home or office.

Patricia's formal education and background is in the arts, though she finds that the true credit for the artist she has become and will continue to evolve as, belongs to the University of Life and all the other wonderful students/teachers that belong to it.

Art is all around us, and there is an artist in us all.
