Hello! Welcome to my store!!! My real name is Norma Andreu and I´m from Mexico City but now living in Montreal. I'm very happy you've decided to visit. I'm a painter and an illustrator and more recently a textile artist!!! who loves children's books, everything you see here is hand made by me and I hope you like it! Please read the details of buying in my store:



CLOTH DOLLS:

Every doll is made by me with my sewing machine and with some hand embroidery, I have 3 different ones: UOMI’s, Grumpies, and the No one’s children. For the first two I made a pattern so even if each one of them is a one of a kind because of the fabrics, colors and dress code, they all look the same shape. In the case of the No one’s children they are all a unique piece because I have no pattern and the faces and dress are made out with a combination of free motion stitching and my imagination, they are like children illustrations alive!!! I draw the faces with the threads in the moment and I choose the fabrics, buttons and shapes in the very moment I’m doing it!!!! They are just unique!!!!

I can make special request on the cloth dolls. In the UOMI’s case you can choose whatever color you want for the body, legs and arms; you can also choose a name or a legend to be embroidered in the chest of your UOMI and the color of the thread. In the Grumpies case you can let me know the combination of colors, the color of the trousers, if you want him with a bow tie, a regular tie, or straps. In the case of the No one’s children is a little more complicated, but you can let me know if you want a boy or a girl and the combination of colors you want, the rest will be random since they are no pattern dolls.

If you want to buy a doll and it sold before you did, you can request me for the same doll and I will be glad to make it again for you. It will be the most similar without being exactly the same.

Every doll has a fixed price for shipping, the time it takes for each shipment to arrive is 10 to 15 days, although sometimes can take a little bit more. Every doll will be sent inside a huge envelope with bubble wrap inside, so they won’t damage in case of rain. The dolls fit perfectly in these envelopes with their legs up; they won’t damage and as soon as you get it just put the legs down and they will be ok. I chose this option to ship them because inside a box the shipping price would increase almost the double!!! Every shipment of cloth dolls is registered to make sure they arrive to its destination. If your country is not in the available for shipping countries, please send me an e-mail telling me wich doll are you interested and I will find the exact shipping amount for yor country.

I can only send your payment back in the case the doll is lost in the way to your home. I cannot make any refunds in the case you don’t like the doll when you receive it, but I can exchange it for another one if you pay the shipping back of your old doll and the shipping of your new doll. I made sure of taking very good pictures of them so you can really have a good look at them in every way so this doesn’t happen.



PAYMENT:

Before you check out the site will ask you to login, if you are not a member of Etsy.com it will take just 1 minute to register, it's to guarantee your purchase security. I accept payments with PayPal only, you can pay if you have a credit or debit card even if you are not a PayPal member. When you do your checkout and register in the store, the PayPal will open, if you are a member just login in PayPal. If you are not a member, just choose the option of not having a PayPal account and then put you card info.

Remember the prices are in US dollars, the conversion of your purchase will be applied according to your currency and your bank.

SHIPPING:

Shipping will take around 2 weeks, although for some countries it can take up to 4 weeks. If you need an expedite delivery, please send me an e-mail and I will let you know the charges. Be aware that if you buy Monday to Wednesday I’ll ship it on Thursday, and if you buy from Thursday to Sunday I’ll ship it on Monday. (If I cannot ship them in these dates for some reason like work I will let you know and I will ship your purchase in my first free day which I will also let you know)

I don’t send any purchase until I get the payment in advance. If you don’t have the money right away please let me know and I can hold any Item for you max. for 2 weeks. If after the 2 weeks I don’t get the money or a message from you I will put the item on sale again.

GIFTS:

If you want to send an item as a gift to someone, just send me an e-mail telling me so after your purchase is completed, with the address of that someone and if you want me to send a bday note or some message just write it to me in the same message and I’ll be glad of put a cute note along with the gift.

Hola! Bienvenidos a mi tienda!!! Mi verdadero nombre es Norma Andreu, soy de la Ciudad de México y hace poco vivo en Montreal. Me hace muy feliz tu visita! Soy pintora e ilustradora y me especializo en la ilustración infantil y más recientemente artista textil!!!. Todo lo que vendo esta hecho por mí y espero que te guste! Por favor lee los detalles acerca de comprar en mi tienda:


MUÑECAS DE TELA:

Cada muñecas está hecha por mi en mi máquina de coser y con algunas cosas bordadas a mano. Tengo 3 modelos de muñecas diferentes: UOMI’s, Gruñis y Los Niños de nadie. Para los primeros 2 modelos hice un patrón, así que aunque cada una es una pieza única por las telas, los colores y la vestimenta todos tienen la misma forma. En el caso de los Niños de nadie es diferente, cada uno de ellos es realmente único porque no tengo patrones y la cara y la vestimenta están hechos con una combinación de estilo libre con la máquina de coser *como dibujando con el hilo* y mi imaginación; son como ilustraciones infantiles en vida!!! Dibujo la cara en el momento y escojo las telas, botones y formas en el mismo momento que la estoy haciendo, son realmente UNICAS!!!

Puedo hacer pedidos especiales en las muñecas de tela. En el caso de los UOMI’s tu puedes escoger cualquier color que quieras para el cuerpo, las piernas y los brazos; también puedes escoger un nombre o una leyenda para que yo la borde en su pecho junto al corazón y puedes escoger el color de hilo para bordarlo. En el caso de los Gruñis me puedes decir la combinación de colores que te gustaría, el color de los pantalones, si lo quieres con una corbata de moño, una corbata normal o tirantes. En el caso de los Niños de nadie es un poco más complicado porque no tengo patrones pero me puedes pedir un Niño o una Niña, la combinación de colores que te gustaría y el resto serán al azar ya que como te comenté antes no existe ningún patrón.

Si algo que querias comprar se vendió antes de que lo hicieras, me puedes pedir que lo haga de nuevo. La réplica sera muy similar al que te gustó aunque no exactamente la misma.

Cada muñeca tiene un precio de envío fijo el tiempo que toma en llegar cada pedido es de 10 a 15 días, aunque a veces puede ser un poco más. Cada muñeca será enviada dentro de un gran sobre forrado con papel burbuja así que no se dañarán en caso de lluvia. Las muñecas caben perfectamente en estos sobres con sus piernas dobladas hacia arriba. No se dañarán, en cuanto las recibas solo pon las piernas en su posición original y estarán intactas. Escogí la opción del sobre porque dentro de una caja de cartón el envío cuesta casi el doble!!! Cada envío de las muñecas de tela lo hago registrado para asegurarme que llegue a su destino.

Solo puedo enviar el reembolso de tu muñeca en caso de que se pierda y nunca la recibas. No puedo hacer reembolsos en el caso de que no te guste tu muñeca cuando la recibas a menos que quieras cambiarla por otra y tú pagues el envío de vuelta de la muñeca que no te gusto y el envío de la nueva. Me aseguro de tomar fotos detalladas de cada muñeca para que así la puedas ver por todos lados y eso no suceda.



PAGOS:

Para hacer el pago de tu compra la tienda te pedirá que te suscribas. Es un proceso muy rápido para tener un nombre y un password que proteja tu compra. Acepto pagos vía Paypal solamente. Puedes pagar con tarjeta de crédito o de débito, aun si no eres miembro de Paypal. Cuando termines tu compra y te registres se abrirá la página de Paypal; si eres miembro haz tu login, y si no lo eres escoge la opción para aquellos que no tienen cuenta y después pon la información de tu tarjeta.

Recuerda que los precios están en Dólares Americanos, la conversión de tu compra a la moneda nacional dependerá de tu banco.

ENVIO:

Por cierto: el envío tomará alrededor de 2 semanas, aunque para algunos paises puede tardar hasta 4, ya que lo mando por correo. Si necesitas una entrega urgente mándame un mail antes de tu compra y te diré cuánto cuesta. Los días de envío serán los lunes y los jueves. Lo que compres de lunes a miércoles se ira el jueves y de jueves a domingo lo mando el lunes. (Si no puedo enviarla en estos días por alguna razón fuera de serie como trabajo, te haré saber cuando la mandare y será uno o dos días después de las fechas convenidas a más tardar)

No mando ningún artículo antes de recibir el pago. Si no tienes el dinero a la mano házmelo saber y te puedo apartar cualquier cosa que te guste por máx. 2 semanas. Si después de 2 semanas no he recibido el pago o noticias tuyas lo pondré a la venta de nuevo.

REGALOS:

Si quieres mandar tu compra de regalo a alguien especial, sólo mándame un mail después de tu compra con la dirección de ese alguien y sin ningún costo le puedo mandar una nota adjunta de cumpleaños o felicitación, cualquier cosa, añade el mensaje en tu mail y listo!

Si cuando recibas tu compra estás satisfecho, te agradecería mucho que pusieras tus comentarios en la parte del "feed back" de mi tienda para que otras personas que vengan a comprar sepan tus referencias! Si no estás satisfecho házmelo saber al instante y trataré de compensarte como mejor pueda.

Todo mi trabajo lo hago con muchisimo cariño y cuidado, en realidad mis creaciones se vuelven una partecita de mi y es un poco triste cuando se van, cuida mucho de ellas y ojalá traigan a tu vida un poquitín de felicidad y color!!!
