Mom Isnt a Computer Person I am so I decided to do this shop to promote My Moms Art! And here is some information about her!
Marie was born to Dutch, German Parents in pre World War II Europe!She was raised around art all her life (her uncles painted and molded their own frames. They sold their Art door to door, off their backs)
She started early, painting with water color, making Rafia witches and little dolls. She recalls starting seriously while recuperating in the hospital from a infected lip, gotten while working for her step father making fur coats!
Marie modeled as a young woman for a Artist in DenHagg, which she says inspired her wonderful nudes and lovely mermaids !
She met and married her only love, had 2 daughters and has lived in the USA for over 30 years, mostly in her beloved Texas! She does landscapes (yes bluebonnets), seascapes, portraits, and animals as well as her wonderful woman figures!
The 3 Dimensional Art was inspired by Her Daughters play at making art with Polymer clay ! She doesn't use Polymer clay, but isn't giving that secret away! She says" It was a lot of trial and error to figure out what worked best for her, each Artist has to figure that out for themselves"!
