ShayGon's Profile

Bio

My paintings are long stories made short. I try to convey both the action and the moral within my chosen "inches squared"

This is achieved through the arch of an arm; the flick of a hand; the tilt of a head. This is emphasised through colour, composition and texture. This is immortalised through featureless faces and unassuming detail.

I call my style "Urbanite" because my paintings are executed with professionalism yet produced with a social conscious. I address current issues with old-fashioned values.

I paint what I know...
I know what I feel.
