Bio

I am a stay at home mama, out here in the California desert making fairies. I sit up at night while my son sleeps and stitch away like a tailor's elf. Watching dolls and fairies come alive in my hands is a joyful thing for me. I am compelled to make these little beings but eventually they become crowded together and begin agitating to be released into the world.

So here they are...

P.S. I use a lot of recycled materials in my dolls, things I find at thrift stores and yard sales. A box of vintage wool felt scraps, a bag of old crewel yarn leftover from a kit, things that might otherwise be thrown away--late at night these salvaged goods come together and form little beings. New life from old stuff. Now, that makes me happy.
