BrushItOn's Profile

Bio

Hi,
I began painting in December 2005 after a very traumatic experience and the rest, as they say, is history. Using glass as my canvas, I brush my designs on using my emotions, imagination, and life experiences. Every piece is signed and then heat treated to set the paint and "lock" the image onto the glass. Because my mix of paint colors is distinct for each project, "sets" of wine glasses or tableware are painted at the same time to ensure color and brush stroke uniformity.

When not painting on glass, I love to paint with watercolor and ink on various types of paper. My sumi-e paintings are some of my favorites because each stroke of the brush is the only chance you have to get it right. You'll know which ones are the sumi-e's because you'll see a square "chop" in red ink.

Caring for my original art on glass is easy. Never scrub or soak any hand painted item. Gently hand wash in warm soapy water when necessary and dry with a soft towel. To quick clean and remove smudges or fingerprints, gently wipe the glass with a dry micro fiber cloth.

If you are a Colorado Springs buyer, contact me to arrange free delivery and refund of shipping charges. Coloradans....don't forget to add the tax!

Enjoy!!
