:About Me:

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, my family often visited places like the San Juan Islands, and Olympic National Park. I was exposed to the beauty in creation, that is all around us.


I first picked up a camera after graduating from college. Very quickly, photography became my primary medium for expressing creativity.


Since that time, I’ve had the opportunity to take pictures in some very beautiful places. The majority of my photos were taken up and down the West Coast, but some were taken as far away as Vienna, Austria. I enjoy being outside, and so many of my pictures were taken while hiking in the mountains, or kayaking in Puget Sound.


Photography has helped me to consider the world around me. I am convinced that there is a creative God at work in all things. Looking through the viewfinder of a camera causes me to stand still before amazing sunsets and magnificent mountains. It requires that I slow down, and look carefully so I don’t miss the glistening dew on a leaf, or the way a bumblebee moves about a flower.


I attempt to respond in an appropriate manner to the wonders I see around me every day. My camera helps me to do that a little better each day.
