Bio

Paper, tea, writing letters, receiving letters, my husband, my daughter, kittens, the beach, traveling, maps, photography, writing, reading, and good food – these are a few of my favourite things.

My mother taught me the value of the thank you note when I was very young and I’ve had an affinity for paper and stationery for as long as I can remember. Rarely am I anywhere without a journal/notebook and pen to jot down a story idea, gift suggestion, or creative endeavour. In my family I am known for this and for eating lots of bread at family dinners.

I teach creative writing at my day job and love it. I live a five minute drive from the amazing Pacific Ocean. I carpool to work almost everyday with my husband. I have finally written a novel.

I feel very lucky to be the girl who lives my life.
