Bio

Thanks for stopping by! You caught me just as I was running back to my studio where I love to:
˚collage
˚screen-print
˚sew napkins
˚carve linoleum blocks
˚steam/rinse/iron/stretch cloth
˚mix dyes

I earned my MFA from Cranbrook; my BFA from University of North Texas. I spent the four years of high school at Interlochen in northern Michigan.

I also made brief stops through: Kansas City Art Institute, Kansas City, MO; University of Brighton, England; Texas Woman's University, Denton, TX.

After college I was the assistant to the window director at Neiman Marcus corporate headquarters in Dallas and later promoted to that position. In New York I worked several freelance display gigs at Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys, Henri Bendel, etc.

I got my first teaching job in 1996; I currently teach at the college level.

I have exhibited my work in New York, NY; Baltimore, MD; Atlanta, GA; Lubbock, TX; Melbourne, Australia.
