I have always loved crafts as a hobby and being a graduate student gives me plenty of time to indulge. As a scientist I love having an outlet for my creative juices and would probably go crazy without it! However, there's only so many cards, notebooks etc that one person needs/can-store-in-a-tiny-apartment, so I figured that an Etsy shop would give me an excuse to make even more pretty things and give me a little income to spend on Etsy goodies for myself :) I'm just getting into Etsy and have so far been overwhelmed by the creative and friendly people I have encountered.

I absolutely love the unique results that Gocco (a Japanese screenprinting method) gives, completely different to laser/inkjet printing - it has so much character. Each piece is slightly different due to the printing technique, resulting in one-of-a-kind mini pieces of art!
