Heather learned to crocheting from her fantastic friend, Bonnie, who simply epitomizes "woman." So, for Heather, crocheting and crafting in general conjure up notions of strength, creativity, vibrancy and, most of all, the feminine. She creates as a way to put these qualities into tangible form. And it just plain kicks ass to make things for people.

Things found in special places, locally owned craft stores, a creative reuse joint, cozy little yarn shops in Montreal, anywhere that makes me want to just sit at home, drink tea with my family and friends and create
