Kirsten lives north of Boston with her husband and daughter. She co-owns the North Shore Clay Studio which is where she teaches and makes her work.

She did her undergrad. at Skidmore College in Saratoga Spr NY and her Masters of Fine Arts at RIT in Rochester, NY.
