Hello, my name is Gretchen and I started crocheting when I was 5yo. I would sit next to my maternal grandmother and watch her. She would make hats, slippers and wooden hanger covers. I started by chaining miles and miles. I would make blankets for my dolls and Barbies. When I was in highschool I started working at a Super Yarn Mart in the Seattle area and my yarn obsession began. I continued to learn to read patterns. I started selling my infant sized covered hangers at consignment shops and did rather well. I now 35+yrs after starting to crochet I now am a free style crocheter and work up my own patterns. I am one that can see a picture and can come up with my own pattern for it. I love to work in all types of yarn but my favorite is baby (fingerling) yarn. I also like to knit, sew, locker hook (colonial art) and bake. I am also an avid camper and my husband loves to hunt so I do alot of game cooking.

First and for most I am a WAHM Homeschooler and mother of 3 (1989, 1997 & 2000). Married to my sweetie since 5/1994.
