Bio

Welcome to PaulaGibbs, my second shop (you can find the original one at http://paulabirdy.etsy.com). After thinking long and hard about how to present my work, I decided to split into two venues: Paulabirdy has my bird-themed work, while PaulaGibbs has mostly gouache paintings and sketches. I am excited to begin offering a number of original pieces soon, so check back in the next few weeks for new additions!

As for my background, I finished a degree in history in 2002 and then decided to return to art + illustration, my first love. I have certificates in Children’s Book Illustration and Natural Science Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design and I draw and paint whenever my day job allows.
