I am an Australian Felt Fibre Artist who works with natural fibres to create individual and wearable felt art, and eco art. I have won several national and local prizes for my art which I have been making and selling since early 2005.

My art is influenced by the colour, light, and texture of the bush landscape which surrounds my studio. Drawing on past experience and exploration in photography, leadlight, metal sculpture, and mosaic work has added to my ability to capture unique colour and texture.

Felt is exquisite, the medium is flexible and allows me to explore both landscape and modern art. Each felt piece is carefully crafted using self taught techniques, and a broad artist pallet of fibres and fabrics collected and ecodyed over many years.

Eco art is made with pure undyed natural fibres and fabrics, hand dyed using native vegetation. No mordants, or harmful additives are used in this process.

IT IS ALSO VERY GREEN, using only solar power, tank water, hand made olive oil soap, and all natural and some recycled materials. All materials are sourced from fair trade suppliers. Some of the recycled wool, silk, and alpaca that I use in my Colour Art may have been dyed with synthetic dyes. All of the colours in my Eco Art are totally natural sourced from native vegetation and rust, and the fibres are not comercially dyed. All of my art it totally green in that it is 100% compostable. There is no plastic, paint, acrylic, nylon, or other chemical treatments used in the creative process.
