Bio

This shop is named after my grandmother, Adelaide, and her brother, Lars -- two feisty and funny characters from my early childhood.

These creations aim to be simple and whimsical. The bags can be done in a variety of sizes and materials.

Originally from Washington, DC, I lived in various places including Madison, WI, and Bangkok, Thailand before settling in Minneapolis to be with my sweetie. Finally, I'm stationary enough to own a sewing machine.

I started sewing about ten years ago and since then have taken various classes in order to improve my craft. I'm a practical person who loves creating items that combine form and everyday function. I'm inspired by the natural world, the materials, and, most importantly, a love of learning. I enjoy the process of reading about and practicing my crafts so that my skills and products are constantly changing.

When I'm not sewing and knitting, I'm reading, writing, and spending time with the fams.
