Bio

I make websites and write code for a living, so in my free time I'm attracted to things that irrefutably EXIST. Like dense, textural needlepoint, which is built up element by element, just like pixel art. But instead of being made of electrons and angle-brackets, needlepoint is made of wool, canvas, starch, and TIME (there's no "fill > foreground color", of course!)

I like how needlepoint is just about as FAR as you can get on the Luddite numberline away from computers. But then my machine-readable canvases make the round trip BACK to pure data. For some reason, I find this cathartic :)
