Bio

Thank you for taking the time to visit acorn beach. My artisan jewelry is hand crafted with great care and inspired by sparkling seas, woodsy warmth, and life's little whimsies. The designs are meant to be modern day classics, and range from delicate sterling earrings to chunky gemstone strands. I get a thrill from each and every piece I create and hope that you'll treat yourself - or a loved one – to a bit of something special from my store.

A BIT ABOUT ME: I was lucky enough to grow up on Florida's gulf coast. I spent hours and hours and hours running around in a bathing suit collecting sea shells with my sister and making castles out of sand dunes. We also enjoyed summers out in America's great west exploring state parks, mountain ranges - and even a few bat caves - by day and retreating to the comfort of our 1950's silver airstream at night. Eventually my travel horizons expanded even further, and I have had the good fortune to spend time in Europe, Asia, and South America. Perhaps most memorable was the summer I spent crewing on boats in Greece (pssst… if you have to work on a boat, make sure it's in Greece!).

A BIT ABOUT MY WORK: Now settled down and married to the funniest, cutest person ever, I enjoy creating beautiful jewelry in classic designs. I like to work with sterling, gold and brass – and adore finding that balance between fresh, modern style and timeless, traditional fashion. The pieces also always contain some trace of my many adventures (turquoise for the road trips through New Mexico, starfish charms reminiscent of Gulf beaches, designs inspired by Chilean poets…)
