Bio

My name is Carolyn. I am the mother of a wonderful little boy. I began making appliqued shirts for him when couldn't find what I wanted at the mall or boutiques. Soon my friends began asking for clothes. And my business started from there.

Some of my designs come directly from my little boy's imagination. He will say "Mommy I want a dinosaur with a long neck and a long tail eating a tree." And in a few days he will have one on a shirt. As a former engineer, I love the process of making a design and then figuring out how to construct it. My favorite part of the design process is matching designs and fabrics to each child's personality.

Who is the little blue dog in my logo? That is Blue Cuddly himself. Since this venture is inspired by my little boy, I wanted it to express a part of him. Blue Cuddly is his lovey. This little dog/blanket thingy has been a part of our family for the past 5 years. And I expect he will be here for much longer. :-)
