Hey there, and welcome to Ciaobirdie! My name is Barb, I work and live in Portland, Oregon.

The beauty of the materials I use offer much inspiration in each piece I make. I combine found ephemera and respond to those elements with paint, ink, and graphite.
I let each collage tell me its story- I just coax it along until it reveals itself.
I love to spend time in my garden. It's where I do a lot of thinking and taking in the small details.
I love birds. They are, by far, the most beautiful creatures in the world, I just can't help but use them as subjects.
