Bio

I am a grandmother with 6 grandchildren, 3-9 years old, two of which live with me, 3 and 7. We love to roam our 3 acres looking for bark, twigs, leaves, spanish moss, and other findings from our variety of trees and shrubs such as cedar, sycamore, mountain laurel, pecan, oak, mesquiteand much more. We also find feathers from our hens and guineas.

The nature findings are heated in an oven to kill any critters and then coated most items with a clear satin polyacrylic. Will be trying other coatings as we go.

The feathers are cleaned in ethanol alcohol and treated with borax.

We will also be offering one of a kind fabric designs on 100% cotton. Using fabric crayons, bleeding tissue and fabric paints and dyes we do freestyle art work on the fabric. Nothing more beautiful then turning loose a 3 and 7 year old doing their own thing! Plus I like to recycle garments from the past and will be offering a variety of fabric squares.

I am an avid collector of all seemingly useless things but just know that each item is someone's treasure and can be reused for something creative and beautiful.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES:

I prefer to ship Priority Mail with Insurance, but will ship First Class Mail for small items.

I can ship one pound Priority Mail for $4.80 so when shopping combine orders to save on shipping.

I accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Checks, Money Orders and Paypal. Checks and Money Orders have to clear before item is shipped.
